One of the reasons I wanted to buy our current house several years ago — besides the large master closet — is the downstairs area that I knew would be a perfect studio space!
Tile floor for easy clean up, large north side window for great light, and open to the downstairs living area, which I love because I’m not closed off from all the action of my girls and their friends, or my man watching a hockey game!
I’ve rearranged the space several times, but I think ive got it just like I need it now. A great set-up for efficient production, and a nice big space for friends to join me!
Wanna come over and create with me?
I just finished a commissioned piece for a noted counselor in town. She does a lot of family counseling and wanted a mama and baby for her office.
What do you think?
I found this adorable pattern from Valori Wells, and I’ve been having so much fun making these tiny purses.
These are perfect for going out, shopping, traveling…anything that you don’t want to lug a big purse around for.
You can purchase one from my online shop.
They have a pocket in the back for your cell, and under the front flap are three pockets for your cards, lip gloss, etc.
And it’s so much fun to try all kinds of fabrics, from sophisticated, to modern, to florals, to these great novelty fabrics!
Here’s another for the music lover, like me. This is available for purchase in my online shop. IT measure 22″ x 32 1/2″. Also, patterns for this quilted piece of art are coming SOON!
My daughters are musicians. Our house is filled with singing, and often a couple of musical instruments accompanying. My older daughter, Caroline, 16, saved up to by herself a beautiful Martin acoustic guitar last year. It has brought so much joy into our home, and into her life.
She named it Ben, and she loves to go out in our yard and play under her favorite tree. This inspired “Acoustic Beauty.”
This quilted fiber art wall hanging is for sale on my online shop. Also, patterns to make your own are coming SOON! Be sure to check my online shop often.
I love the Tula Pink fabric on the back!
And here is Caroline with her guitar. You can check out Caroline singing some of her originals on her Facebook page.

I’m a mountain biker, and where I live, in Helena, MT, the trails are amazing! My husband and I have a standing date all summer to ride together every Sunday afternoon. We squeeze in more rides during the week as we can.
A couple of years ago, I got a new bike, a Trek Lush…and she is AWESOME. I named her Luscious.
Of course I had to create a mountain bike collage! And I named it after my sweet bike. I think Luscious lives up to her name, I mean, look at this quilt!
It is for sale on my online shop.
Also, patterns for this mountain bike wall hanging are coming SOON! You can make your own!
My husband Jamie and me on a bike ride.
Then came Daisy. Don’t you just love her?
